Mailings
Newsletters and occasional mailings are made to those of the users, who have given their prior consent to it. Information is collected and stored in our secure database from you when you register with us: Your name and email details. If you do not wish to continue to receive such mailings or would like to subscribe to them, please contact ruth@studio6.co.uk Subject to your agreement we may contact you to either provide information on our services or to get your feedback on how we are performing. We will only ever obtain information from you that is fit for purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy. We do not pass on your details to any third parties.
Data Protection
Studio Six is fully committed to compliance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 (“the Act”). We follow procedures that aim to ensure that all employees, outside consultants, business partners or those who have access to any personal data held by or on behalf of the Company, are fully aware of and abide by their duties and responsibilities under the Act.
The Data Protection Act 1998 (“the Act”) is the area of law which governs what may and may not be done with personal data. This personal data will be handled and dealt with properly and will be collected, recorded and used, as either electronic or manual information. The purpose of the Act is to ensure that the records, which are held about a particular person, are accurate, that individuals have the right to see information held about them and that information held about a particular person is kept confidential and not freely distributed.
Studio Six regards the lawful and correct treatment of personal information as very important to its successful operations and to maintaining confidence between the Company and those with whom it carries out business. To this end the Company fully endorses and adheres to the Principles of Data Protection as set out in the Data Protection Act 1998.
